Our Girls Brigade meets every Tuesday evening 5.30pm – 8.00pm in the Church Centre, for crafts, games, Bible stories and lots of fun.
Welcome to the 1st Guildford Girls' Brigade at St John's Stoke! We're dedicated to empowering girls from Reception through Year 11, offering a vibrant space to explore faith, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.

Our Sections:
N:vestigate (Years R–2): Tuesdays, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
N:gage (Years 3–6): Tuesdays, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
N:counta (Years 7–11): Tuesdays, 6:45 pm – 8:00 pm
Each week, we engage in a variety of activities, including crafts, games, and Bible stories, all designed to encourage personal growth and community involvement. A highlight of our year is the annual camp in the New Forest, where we create unforgettable memories together.
Our aim is to help girls seek, serve and follow Christ and find true enrichment in life.

At St John's, we prioritize the safeguarding and well-being of all our members. Our leaders are fully DBS-checked and have completed safeguarding training, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for everyone.

Join us for an evening filled with fun, learning, and friendship. For more information or to get involved, please contact Carol Lowries, our Team Leader, through the church office - office@stjohnstoke.com.

Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where young people can have fun, build friendships, and develop new skills. We are committed to the safeguarding, care, and nurture of everyone in our community. All our volunteers undergo full DBS checks and complete the Church of England safeguarding training to ensure the well-being of all participants. We also welcome those with additional needs; please contact Janet or Lucy to discuss any support requirements.
