Happy Christmas
from St John’s Stoke

In an uncertain world, shifting politics, war in Ukraine, changes in Prime Minister and the sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II, we may feel it is difficult to make sense of life right now.

But God offers hope, peace and certainty in a changing world. In Bethlehem, 2000 years ago, a baby was born in a stable to a young couple, Mary and Joseph. This child Jesus, born in a manger, is the hope of the world and knowing him then, and now, provides real certainty in life and stability in a changing world.

So, if you are looking for something more stable in life, why not come to your local church, St John’s Stoke, this Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus, the baby born in a stable for you?

Happy Christmas to you and all your family.
