Welcome to St John’s Stoke, a thriving church near to the centre of Guildford. We are thrilled that you are here!

The word and Spirit are at the heart of who we are as a church. We believe that God speaks through his word today, and we long to see more of the Holy Spirit at work in our church. Children and youth events, family life and young people are central in who we are as a church, there is something for everyone.

It's almost summer and we are looking forward to our summer events. Our final Todders/Refresh of the term will be on Tuesday 15th July when we will be having our Summer Party. Youth Club will be finishing on Wednesday 16th July with a Summer Celebration. Sunday Kids will be finishing on Sunday 20th July with a celebration in the groups.

Over the summer break we will be having some events for our Youth and Children. There will be children's events on 12th and 19th August - more details to follow. There will be youth events on 29th July and 26th August. Check with Lucy for more information.

Sundays

at SJS - Services, Children and Youth Groups

Sunday is the main day of the week for us, and we just love to gather together as church family.

9am Morning Service

This is an informal service, though quieter and more structured than our later morning service, with Holy Communion twice a month. Refreshments are served after this service.

10:30am Morning Worship

with children and youth groups led by Janet, our Children’s Pastor and Lucy, our Youth Worker, this is the service many of our families with children attend. Informal, with band led worship for adults and children, this is a fun and energetic service with monthly Holy Communion. Come from 10am for refreshments!

5pm DEEP Evening Worship

This is our youth and adult service. It's an informal service with contemporary worship and an engaging talk followed by coffee for everyone and LED for the youth.
