At St John's we have great things going on for all young people. We have great programmes for young people wishing to explore the reality of faith and life in Guildford and the world right now. We also have brilliant youth clubs every Friday night term time with a real mixture of things going on from getting creative, music, films, games/consoles to special activities - gigs, street dance, bungee runs, to hair and make-up stylists. Come with your friends and see what is going on for yourself!

Switch is a group for young people who want to explore their faith in fresh and relevant ways. We have a fantastic group of young people from St John’s and St Peters (Stoke Hill) that meet together each week and have a real laugh! There are great social events each month and trips away too! That's right, it is big, and it is for young people . . .
1st Guildford Boys' Brigade meets on Thursday evenings during term time, for all boys between the ages of 6yrs – 18yrs. We have an action packed programme involving adventure, community, leadership, physical and skills based activities. There are many opportunities to take part in competitions against other BB companies from sports to quiz competitions. We have an annual week long camp with a structured programme of outdoor activities for all ages. We have five parade services a year where all boys and their families are encouraged to come along to the services. Contact: Peter Curran for details.
The Youth Alpha course is led by Fiona Simon (our curate) with the support of a great youth leadership team. Youth Alpha is for anyone between 11-18 years old and is designed specifically with teenagers in mind with games, film clips, music and fun. The group is split into age related smaller groups for discussions.. Contact: Fiona 01483 569862
We meet in the Church Centre, every Sunday morning during term time, except for Family Service. We also hold occasional events and fun evenings for 11 to 13 years. We seek to learn more about God and Christ in a fun way and see how he can make a difference in our lives. Contact: Simon and Kate Loveless
